The Cupar Food Station project has moved on to the next stage after the Board adopted the recommendations made in the Outline Business Case study at their meeting on the 23rd July (2025).
The Case Study took feedback from hundreds of people during the survey phase and has recommended that the Board proceed.
“The Cupar Food Station represents a transformative opportunity to create a sustainable, mixed- use facility that celebrates local food, supports community needs, and generates ongoing income for CDT. With strong community support and alignment with strategic priorities, this project promises to deliver significant economic, social, and cultural benefits to Cupar and the wider Northeast Fife region, while ensuring the long-term sustainability of Cupar Development Trust.
The Cupar Food Station (CFS) is a proposed regeneration project to transform the vacant former Argos building in Ferguson Square, Cupar into a multi-functional food and community hub. Led by Cupar Development Trust (CDT), the project aims to create a sustainable mixed-use facility focused on food and drink that would generate income for CDT while delivering significant community benefits.”
